Ascent Resources signs option agreement over Utah acreage

(Sharecast News) - Ascent Resources announced on Wednesday that it has signed an option agreement that could allow a third party to extract lithium and potash from mineral-rich brines in Utah, opening a new potential revenue stream from its US acreage without requiring additional development spending.

Ascent Resources gets favourable ruling in Slovenia arbitration

(Sharecast News) - Ascent Resources announced on Thursday that it has secured a favourable ruling in its domestic arbitration proceedings against its former Slovenian joint venture partner Geoenergo, with the tribunal awarding its subsidiary, Ascent Slovenia (ASL), €4.99m plus interest in outstanding revenues.

Ascent Resources launches Utah work programme

(Sharecast News) - Ascent Resources announced the launch of a work programme targeting the reactivation of existing wells in Utah on Friday, following its conditional agreement to acquire a 10% stake in ARB Energy Utah-operated leases and the right to half of incremental production from work-over operations it funds.
