LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Spectra Systems Corporation said on Thursday that it has appointed Rafael Marcinek as finance director in a non-board role, following the medical leave of Kevin Richards.
It siad Marcinek, 42, is a certified public accountant with more than 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing and financial leadership across both public and private sectors.

He began his career in public accounting, managing large-scale assurance engagements for billion-dollar organisations, and later held senior finance roles overseeing budgeting, forecasting and operational improvement initiatives.

Spectra said Marcinek brings extensive expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance and internal controls, and would be responsible for advancing the company's financial strategy and reporting processes.

"I am delighted to welcome Rafael to Spectra Systems and believe that his breadth of experience will be of great value to the company," said chief executive Dr Nabil Lawandy.

"Rafael will play a key role in advancing Spectra's financial strategy, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting the company's continued growth and innovation."

At 1037 BST, shares in Spectra Systems Corporation were up 1.48% at 150.7p.
