Founded in 1923, Textron is now one of the largest multi-industry companies in America. It employs approximately 43,000 people in 40 countries within a range of aircraft, industrial and finance businesses, and owns major brands, such as Bell Helicopters and Cessna Aircraft. It also operates other businesses, which include: Textron Fastening Systems, a provider of integrated fastening systems solutions; an Industrial division, whose products include golf carts and turf-care equipment; and Textron Financial Corporation, which has core operations in aircraft finance, asset-based lending, distribution finance, golf finance, resort finance and structured capital.
