LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - International specialist staffing group Empresaria announced on Tuesday that Spencer Wreford was taking on the role of chief operating officer, with immediate effect.
The AIM-traded company confirmed it was a new position within the Empresaria management team, reflecting the "growth and development" of the group, to help support and deliver the board's 'invest and develop' strategy.

Wreford, who has been group finance director since May 2010, would operate in a dual role as both group finance director and chief operating officer, until a new finance director is in place.

"I am delighted that Spencer has agreed to take on the role of chief operating officer - something he has effectively been doing for a number of years," said Empresaria chief executive Joost Kreulen.

"This is an important step for Empresaria, to add more management capacity in the head office to support our diversified Group and to deliver on our strategy."
