(Sharecast News) - The US President announced that imports from the EU and Mexico would both be taxed at 30% commencing on 1 August. The announcement was a surprise for both Brussels and the US trade representative, Jamieson Greer, as both believed that they had reached a deal that would be acceptable to both sides. EU trade ministers' previously scheduled Monday meeting will now see them come under pressure to show a "tough" reaction. - Guardian
Central Asia Metals revises guidance after mixed first-half

(Sharecast News) - Central Asia Metals revised its production guidance after a mixed first-half operational performance on Thursday, with copper production from its Kounrad plant in Kazakhstan reaching 6,218 tonnes and lead and zinc output from the Sasa mine in North Macedonia totalling 12,613 tonnes and 8,692 tonnes, respectively.
Rig mobilising to drill appraisal well for Pantheon Resources

(Sharecast News) - Pantheon Resources confirmed in an update on Thursday that the Nabors 105AC rig was now mobilising to the Dubhe-1 pad on Alaska's North Slope, where it would drill an appraisal well targeting the Ahpun Topset reservoir, previously referred to as SMD-B.
