LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Hammerson disclosed a purchase worth almost £40k on Wednesday, made by its non-executive board chair, as it also reported the grant of share plan awards to four executives.
The FTSE 250 shopping centre owner said Robert Noel bought 120,000 shares on Tuesday, at a price of 31.37p each, valuing the transaction at £37,644.00.

At the same time, it disclosed share awards made to chief executive Rita-Rose Gagne, chief financial officer Himanshu Raja, chief development and asset repositioning officer Harry Badham, and chief operating officer Gregoire Peureux.

The awards were all priced at 31.66p each, being Hammerson's average closing price over the five days to 21 March.

On the selling side of things, FW Thorpe reported that the wife of a non-executive director had made a sale worth just under £30k.

The AIM-traded firm said Kathryn Ditchfield - Antony Cooper's wife - sold 7,100 shares on Monday, at a price of 415p each, valuing the sale at £29,465.00.

Following the transaction, Thorpe said Cooper's interest in the company, including interests held by his associates, was 171,607 shares, representing 0.14% of its shares in issue.
