LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Security solutions and managed services supplier Westminster Group announced on Friday that it has secured an additional contract worth $0.3m to provide entry screening solutions for an existing international client in the United States.

The AIM-traded firm said the contract would enhance security measures at multiple sites across the country, reinforcing Westminster's presence in the US market and its ongoing relationship with the client.

"In October 2024, the company announced it had secured contracts worth over $1.2m to provide a range of security services across a number of prominent sites in the United Kingdom for a major international organisation with operations in over 90 countries around the world," said chief executive officer Peter Fowler.

"In that announcement we stated that, with our global reach and expertise, we anticipated we would be able to assist them with equipment and services at many of their other locations around the world.

"I am delighted therefore to be able to announce this latest contract award and we look forward to further assisting this organisation improve the security of their worldwide operations."

At 1308 GMT, shares in Westminster Group were up 5.76% at 1.75p.
