Central Asia Metals revises guidance after mixed first-half

(Sharecast News) - Central Asia Metals revised its production guidance after a mixed first-half operational performance on Thursday, with copper production from its Kounrad plant in Kazakhstan reaching 6,218 tonnes and lead and zinc output from the Sasa mine in North Macedonia totalling 12,613 tonnes and 8,692 tonnes, respectively.

(Sharecast News) - Central Asia Metals revised the structure of its proposed acquisition of New World Resources on Monday, replacing a scheme of arrangement with a recommended off-market takeover offer valuing the Australian firm at AUD 230m (£109.92m).

(Sharecast News) - Central Asia Metals announced on Friday that it has raised its offer to acquire Australia's New World Resources (NWR), increasing the cash consideration to 5.3 Australian cents (2.6p) per share and valuing the target at approximately AUD 197m.
