LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - OptiBiotix Health announced the launch of 'FeelFull', a prebiotic lemonade drink containing its 'SlimBiome' ingredient, in the United States on Tuesday, through Daily Nouri.
The AIM-traded firm said the product was designed to help regulate appetite, curb cravings, and support metabolic health by increasing stomach viscosity, slowing gastric emptying, and stabilising blood sugar levels.

It said Daily Nouri, a well-established brand in the US known for its probiotic and prebiotic products, would sell FeelFull through its online store, as well as Amazon and major retailers including Walmart and Albertsons.

The lemonade is available in powdered stick packs, allowing for mixing with water.

It said the packaging includes health claims highlighting its clinically supported benefits, including appetite reduction and a feeling of fullness, positioning it within the growing weight management market.

Nouri forecast an initial requirement of 10 tonnes of SlimBiome in the product's first year.

"Nouri is a well-known and respected brand in the USA with an online presence and products in major retailers like Walmart and Albertsons, the second largest supermarket in the US," said chief executive officer Stephen O'Hara.

"This initial launch is for a FeelFull lemonade product with the potential for further products within the FeelFull range depending on sales progress.

"This launch represents a step forward for the company's products in the US market and the first of a number of launches planned with partners across the US."

O'Hara noted that, with recent product launches in India through Morepen and Amazon, as well as China and large parts of Asia, and now the US, the company was growing its brand presence in international markets globally.

"This global approach, whilst taking longer than a single market approach but with greater upside, has the potential to create multiple revenue streams and build a substantial global business in the years ahead."

At 1527 GMT, shares in OptiBiotix Health were up 5.18% at 16.04p.
