LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - HSS Hire Group revealed on Wednesday that chairman Alan Peterson had disposed of 2.70m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed tools and equipment rental group.
Peterson, who took over as chairman for the second time in 2012, sold the shares on Tuesday at an average price of 17.48p each, for a total value of £472,700.28.

Back in September, HSS said it swung to a profit in the first half and that earnings for the full year are set to be ahead of market expectations.

HSS also said it has agreed to sell All Seasons Hire, its heating, ventilation and air-conditioning hire solution provider, to Cross Rental Services for £55.0m in cash. Proceeds from the disposal will be used to accelerate the repayment of debt.

As of 1620 BST, HSS shares were up 1.14% at 17.70p.
