LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Warhammer maker Games Workshop said it current-year licensing revenue would not match 2024/25's record of £50m adding that pre-tax profit for the 52 weeks to June 1 would be at least £255m, smashing estimates of £225m.
Core revenue and operating profit were expected to be at least £560m and £210m respectively from £498m and £174.8m in 2023/24, with licensing operating profit of around £45m, up from £27m last year.
"Licensing revenue in the period is at a record level and we are not expecting this to be repeated in 2025/26. Licensing remains a significant area of focus," the company said in a brief trading statement.
