Frasers Group appoints Jon Thompson as new chair as Daly steps down

(Sharecast News) - Frasers Group said on Friday that chair David Daly will step down from the board at the annual general meeting next month after eight years of service and will be succeeded by Sir Jon Thompson on 1 September.

(Sharecast News) - London stocks ended lower on Thursday as investors reacted to underwhelming second-quarter earnings from US chipmaker Nvidia, while a raft of UK-listed companies traded ex-dividend.

BNPP Exane upgrades Currys, says iD Mobile is underappreciated

(Sharecast News) - BNP Paribas Exane upgraded Currys on Thursday to 'outperform' from 'neutral' and lifted the target price to 135p from 115p as it said the iD Mobile business is an underappreciated driver of the company's growth, "enhancing sales, margins, and underpinning valuation".
