LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Food technology company BigDish has reached an agreement to integrate its services within NFS Technology's point of sale software solution for restaurants.
BigDish said integrating with a POS had two significant benefits for restaurants, enabling the eatery's operational team to access the BigDish Manager directly within their POS and providing the restaurant with a link to BigDish dining activity data, providing valuable marketing insights in the process.

The AIM-listed group added that the integration would enable restaurant groups to more effectively roll out BigDish.

Chief executive Sanj Naha said: "BigDish is firstly and foremost a technology company and I am delighted that our first point of sale integration is with NFS Technology Group, who are highly regarded within the industry.

"Restaurant groups, in particular, will be pleased with this initiative as it will enable more centralised management of BigDish within a particular restaurant group."

As of 0915 BST, BigDish shares were up 5% at 3.57p.
