Transaction in Own Shares

WICKES GROUP PLC ("Wickes", or the "Company") announces today it has purchased the following number of its Ordinary Shares of 10p each through Peel Hunt LLP.

 Ordinary Shares

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.

Including the above purchases, Wickes has purchased a total of 9,354,216 Ordinary Shares since the commencement of the buyback programme.

Following the purchase and cancellation of these shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 232,712,083 shares. The Company holds 0 shares in Treasury.

Once the shares are cancelled, the total number of voting rights in Wickes will therefore be 232,712,083. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
