FTSE 100 movers: Miners gain; Smith & Nephew slumps on CFO departure

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 100 was up 0.3% at 10,754.75 in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
Rio Tinto was among the risers following a Bloomberg report it's in talks about a potential $600m investment in McEwen Copper, which owns the Los Azules project in Argentina.
