Europe open: Shares edge ahead as bond yields, oil fall

(Sharecast News) - European shares opened slightly higher on Thursday on the back of a stronger Wall Street performance overnight as bond yields and oil prices eased.
The benchmark Stoxx 600 index was up 0.04% to 646 at 0734 GMT with most major bourses higher.
