US open: Stocks rise as CPI data cements rate-hike expectations

(Sharecast News) - US stocks jumped on Friday morning, rebounding from a six-week low, after in-line inflation data cemented expectations that the Federal Reserve will hike interest rates at its policy meeting next week.
The Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq were all trading 1.0-1.1% higher in early deals on Wall Street.
