Gunsynd unveils high-grade historical results from Bear Twit

(Sharecast News) - Gunsynd said in an update on Tuesday that historical exploration data had revealed a new high-grade silver, zinc and lead target at its Bear Twit Project in Canada's Northwest Territories, with assays returning grades of up to 651 grams of silver per tonne, 54.32% zinc and 58.12% lead.
The AIM-traded company said the new mineralised zone, known as the Enyo Showing, was identified following the completion of a comprehensive data compilation and verification programme by Critical Discoveries.

It said the work integrated historic exploration results into a modern geospatial database to help define new drill targets across the Bear Twit property, in which Gunsynd holds a 100% interest.

The Enyo area was originally sampled in 2013, with assays confirming extensive high-grade mineralisation.

Fourteen rock samples returned zinc values exceeding 20%, while ten contained more than 100 grams of silver per tonne.

Soil sampling from the same area recorded grades of up to 16.8 grams of silver per tonne, 1.45% zinc and 0.84% lead, outlining a combined anomaly extending roughly 1.5 kilometres by 0.5 kilometres.

"These additional assay results from the Enyo Showing are encouraging and clearly confirm significant lead-zinc-silver mineralisation, with compelling upside for previously untested critical metals copper, gallium and germanium," said executive chairman Hamish Harris.

"We look forward to progressing Bear Twit toward drill-ready status."

The company said the historical rock samples were collected where visible mineralisation was noted, using grab, chip and channel sampling methods.

The findings marked a new exploration focus for Gunsynd as it advanced Bear Twit towards potential drilling.

At 1400 GMT, shares in Gunsynd were down 8.15% at 0.13p.
