(Sharecast News) - US wholesale inventories rose by 0.2% month-on-month to $917.2bn in December, according to preliminary figures from the Census Bureau, matching November's reading and in line with market forecasts.
Durable goods inventories increased by 0.3%, the same as in November, while non-durable goods stocks remained unchanged after a 0.1% increase in November.
On an annualised basis, wholesale inventories rose 2.8% in the final month of 2025.
