(Sharecast News) - Petards Group said on Friday that its subsidiary QRO Solutions has secured two contracts with a combined value of £0.5m, spanning UK and European law enforcement customers.
The AIM-traded firm said the first contract, from a new export customer, would cover the supply of ProVida in-car speed enforcement systems for use by a European national police force.
Delivery was expected to be completed in the first half of 2026, with installation to be carried out by the customer across its vehicle fleet.
The second contract related to the supply of Harrier AI automatic number plate recognition cameras to an existing UK law enforcement client.
It said the equipment would form part of a wider ANPR programme, with deployment planned at several strategic highway locations across England.
Delivery was scheduled to be completed before the end of June 2026.
"We are delighted that QRO has secured these orders, one of which consolidates its position with an important UK customer and the other representing QRO's first significant overseas order since it started investing in dedicated overseas business development resources in 2025," said chairman Raschid Abdullah.
"From a strategic perspective, this first European export success is particularly pleasing and is a tangible sign that international markets have the potential to provide an additional source of future growth for the business."
At 1030 GMT, shares in Petards Group were up 4.76% at 11p.
