FRC opens probe into PwC's audit of Digital 9 Infrastructure

(Sharecast News) - The Financial Reporting Council said on Thursday that it has opened a probe into PricewaterhouseCoopers' audit of Digital 9 Infrastructure's financial statements for the year to the end of December 2023.
The decision to open the investigation was made at a meeting of the FRC's Conduct Committee on 16 December 2025.
It will be conducted by the regulator's enforcement division under the Audit Enforcement Procedure.
A PwC spokesperson told Sharecast in an emailed statement: "We will cooperate fully with the FRC in its enquiries. Audit quality is of paramount importance and we are committed to delivering high-quality audits."
