(Sharecast News) - Richmond Hill Resources said on Friday that it would carry out an initial field programme at its Martello project, focused on validating and selectively sampling the New Church Lake, Sakoose and Maw targets.
The AIM-traded firm said the programme is expected to involve around five days in the field, with two to three days dedicated to New Church Lake and the remainder focused on Sakoose and Maw.
Work will include reviewing geological and structural settings, validating known mineralised zones and collecting samples from mineralised exposures, veins, shear zones and altered outcrops.
Director Hamish Harris said historical reports had suggested Sakoose and Maw could form part of the same mineralised system, while recent 3D magnetic interpretation had identified Sakoose as the highest-priority exploration area at Martello.
"The results will help refine our geological model and support planning for the next phase of exploration," he said.
At 0814 BST, shares in Richmond Hill Resources were down 9.09% at 1.25p.
